Hanging the portraits at Einstein Hospital

It took us much longer than usual to hang the portraits from the second edition of the Souls Shot project at Einstein Hospital. It was in a very busy corridor and we were constantly being stopped by staff and visitors .Many of them recognized some of the souls depicted. Some had been with them when they were brought to Einstein Hospital after being shot. They had questions, comments, compliments, and stories to tell. It was an incredibly moving experience. The staff was grateful for the opportunity to learn more about the lives lived.. Friends and family were pleased as well to see their loved ones humanized and memorialized.
