Vision Statement
Souls Shot Portrait Project envisions a community free from gun violence.
Mission Statement
The Souls Shot Portrait Project uses the transformative power of art to bring an end to gun violence. Artists, working with families, create portraits to honor the souls shot. By exhibiting the resulting artwork to the public, we invite the community to recognize what has been lost and to take action to end gun violence.
Values Statement
The primary values of the Souls Shot Portrait Project are:
Respect for all lives affected by gun violence
Belief in art as a powerful tool of advocacy and transformation
Diverse representation among leadership, artists, and victims of gun violence
Commitment to artistic integrity and quality
