Portrait in Blue Portrait of Brandon Lamar Baylor by Helen Mangelsdorf

From Brandon’s mother Mykia Capers: BRANDON LAMAR BAYLOR - My son my friend, my baby boy, Brandon Lamar Baylor is his name. What I am feeling is excruciating pain .Brandon was 28years when was brutally murdered on November 14, 2016.My world, my life, my first born, my only son was taken from me in a matter of minutes after talking to him. When I received the call that Brandon was shot and that I should get to the hospital my first thought was he is there telling everyone call my mom, call my mom so I can tell her who did this and how much it hurts. That conversation would never take place, unfortunately when I arrived at the hospital my son’s lifeless body laid flat on a metal table with a plastic tube down his throat. One promise I made to my sons lifeless body was that justice will be served till this day I am on a mission to fulfill; my promise. My son leaves behind two daughters, one sister and uncles who loved him so much. Brandon loved to eat, joke and ride his motor bike but most of all Brandon loved is snickers bar. Brandon was so full of life with so many dreams the loss was so suddenly.

MY BABYBOY - This is surreal how should all this is so surreal, baby boy how should I feel, my eyes are heavy my body aches no one will understand the pain it makes. My son was my life and joy, why did they have to take my baby boy. I try my best to put on a face but this pain is aching at a rapid pace. Brandon Lamar Baylor is his name why did he have to die in vain. Please someone help to comfort me because I promise I won’t let this be all I request is one last kiss Brando my baby boy you are truly missed. #ShooterYouCanRunButYouCan'tHide.
